Group of people riding

The Cycling UK East Midlands Region contains the six 'Formal Member Groups' of:

Alfreton CTC; CTC Derby and BurtonLeicestershire and Rutland Cyclists' Touring ClubCycling UK Lincolnshire; CTC NorthamptonNottinghamshire CTC.

Additionally, a number of 'Informal Member Groups' operate under the supervision of the parent 'Formal Member Group'.

For example, within Lincolnshire, Informal Member Groups Cycling UK Louth, Cycling UK Lincoln and Cycling UK Gainsborough operate under the 'umbrella' of Cycling UK Lincolnshire Formal Member Group.

Outside of the core 'Formal and Informal Group' structure, there are a number of Affiliated Groups with Cycling UK. They are fully self-governed and fully independent but linked to the national network, enjoying many of the benefits of the national organisation. Affiliated Groups include Leisure & Touring Clubs, Off-Road and Mountain Biking Clubs, Community Cycle Clubs, Campaigning Groups, Inclusivity & Underrepresented Networks.

One example is Stamford Cycling, which was launched back in January 2025. An active group, "building a thriving community of riders who share an enthusiasm for cycling, coffee and good company"
