Mind Matters NE CIC
About us
We are a community cycling group based in Newcastle upon Tyne, run by Mind Matters NE CIC. Our group supports adults of all abilities to build confidence on a bike, enjoy gentle social rides, and connect with others in a welcoming environment.
We offer a range of free sessions, including led rides, learn-to-ride activities, and confidence-building rides, with bikes and helmets available to borrow if needed. Our focus is on helping people who may not have cycled for a long time, are completely new to cycling, or simply want to enjoy the benefits of being more active in a supportive group.
Our rides start from Benfield Sports Centre and take in local routes at a relaxed pace. Everyone is welcome, and we’re especially keen to reach adults who may feel unsure about joining a cycling group for the first time.
