Kinross-shire Trishaws and Community Cycling SCIO

About us

Kinross-shire Trishaws and Community Cycling (KT&CC) is a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO).  We aim to improve health and wellbeing for all participants, increase road safety for cyclists, encourage active travel, increase social cohesion and inclusion, contribute to the local economy, and create employment.

We offer free rides on our Trishaws to end loneliness and social isolation. Our rides are targeted towards those that are unable to cycle themselves either through age, disability, or health limiting conditions. We enable passengers to feel the wind in their hair and remain connected to the community.

We offer inclusive Community Cycling opportunities to increase the number of adults, older adults and children cycling in our community through the delivery of led rides to improve confidence, fitness, physical health, mental health, and develop/further social inclusion. We work with other local community groups, the local Council and housebuilders to improve and develop local cycling facilities and infrastructure.

We develop and lead Bike Buses to increase the number of children and families cycling and travelling actively to school.

We have a small fleet of tricycles and offer regular 'all ability' cycling sessions.
