About us
We meet regularly at Edgbaston Reservoir, with a few different rides to choose from. We are a relaxed club, running social, enjoyable rides that are suitable for beginners to keen cyclists.
I started Joyful Bellas and Fellas after I learned to cycle as an adult and wanted to cycle more, but most of the cycling clubs looked serious and for people with a lot more experience, and a lot faster than me! I decided to start my own club, and we have been going ever since.

Information about the group rides
We have a relaxed beginner ride every Saturday morning from 11am, where we cycle around Edgbaston Reservoir and have a good chat. We go at the pace of the slowest rider and focus on enjoying ourselves.
For anyone keen to push themselves a bit more, we also have more advanced Saturday rides from 10am. These rides are a bit faster and go a bit further than our reservoir rides, but we still make sure we never leave anyone behind.
We have bikes and helmets available for people to borrow, so even if you don’t have a bike of your own you can still take part! Please make sure to dress for the weather and wear appropriate footwear (ie, not flip flops or tennis shoes).
