Cycling UK East Midlands Region organises a minimum of one activity each year.

Currently this is the  Mince Pie Run, held on the last Sunday before Christmas. For 2024, it is hoped to take place on Sunday 22nd December. Full details can be viewed HERE

This annual event is the highlight of the East Midlands Region calendar and attracts cyclists from across the region. There is a tombola in aid of 'Rainbows Children's Hospice'.

In 2023, a magnificent £683.80 was raised from refreshments which was rounded up to £700 and donated to the Rainbows Hospice. Derek Willans from the Rainbows Hospice ran the tombola and raised an additional £1000.
