Thursday 3rd Sept - Cambridge, 36 miles ( Ride + Train)..

Stevenage to Cambridge Off-road ( Ride + Train).
36 miles, 45% unpaved, +1,143ft climbing.

Start at 09.30 from Bowling Green, Stevenage Old Town. Lanes to Weston, bridleways along Icknield Way to Wallington, Therfield and Royston. Ashwell Street byway, bridleways and lanes to Foxton and Shelford. DNA Trail and busway to Cambridge railway station. Catch train back to Stevenage railway station. 

Refreshment stop at Moreno's Cafe, Royston. 

Approx. 4.5 to 5 hours riding time, plus time at refreshment stop.

The route is suitable for hybrids, gravel bikes and mountain bikes with knobbly tyres.
Helmets are strongly recommended for all off-road rides.
