Sunday Ride, 5th July to Camelia Botnar Garden Centre

On Sunday 5th July we'll leave promptly at 10.15 am from Power Watts Hub, Block C, 3 Neptune Square, Edward Street, Brighton, BN2 0AT in the Edward Street Quarter.

We will leave from the Power Watts Hub Cafe at 10.15 am, so if you want a coffee, please arrive earlier. From there, we will ride to Devil's Dyke. Following quiet and scenic roads, we will arrive at Camelia Botnar Garden Centre near Horsham (Littleworth Lane, Cowfold RH13 8NA ) for lunch. If you prefer, bring a picnic lunch and find a spot nearby.

After our lunch, we will head south towards the Shoreham Estuary and then back to Brighton.

The ride is 54 miles, mainly on roads with some easy gravel parts along the cycle lanes.

Please note: all our rides are weather-dependent. If the weather looks bad, a ride will be cancelled!

Please note: in summer, always bring plenty of water to drink when the weather is hot.

If you plan to come on any of our rides, please make sure your cycle is in a roadworthy condition. Bring a puncture repair kit, a spare inner tube (or, for tubeless tyres, as appropriate), essential tools, a mobile phone if you have one, snacks, enough to drink, and sunscreen/waterproofs/warm clothing as appropriate. Don't forget your lights if you expect to be out in the hours of darkness. Please follow Cycling UK guidance and the Highway Code.
