Sunday 5th May - 25 miles off road, 'Train and Ride', North London Brooks & Parks' ride.

Meet at Oakleigh Park station taking train from Hitchin at 10:10 or from Stevenage at 10:14.  Change at Welwyn Gdn City and take 10:30 train to Oakleigh Park to meet outside the station for 11:00 start of the ride.

The ride have 1,785 ft of climbing over a mixed terrian of paved paths by brooks, quiet residential streets, reasonably surfaced trails (80% paved 20%  unpaved). Suitable for mountain,  gravel bikes, hybrids and tourers.

The ride will pass through(or by) Oak Hill Park, Pymmes Brook, Barnet, Monken Hadley, Barnet Brook, Woodside Park, Dollis Brook, Trent Park, Turkey Brook, Forty Park, New River and Oakwood Park.

Trains back run at 25 and 55 mins past every hour.  Allow approx 3.5 to 4 hours for the ride plus refreshments time at 'Nice Green Cafe', Forty Hall.

Helmets are strongly recommended for all off-road rides.
