Sunday 26th July - Hunstanton and North Norfolk - train to Kings Lynn

We will meet at Stevenage station to catch a direct train to Kings Lynn arriving there just after 10am.

From the station, we head out on the NCN1 cycle route to Sandringham for a coffee stop, then on through the rolling Norfolk countryside to Bircham Windmill for lunch. The new route for this year heads north for sweeping views of the North Norfolk coastline on the way to Hunstanton. There we will pause at The Refreshment Bar on the Cliff Parade gardens for ice-cream / hot or cold drinks / snacks before returning to Kings Lynn for a train home via Cambridge. Pick up an extra snack there or bring a picnic for the train journey home.

The ride will be about 50 miles but flexibility is built in to shorten should weather be inclement or there are other delays. Sunday trains are hourly - we would expect to return to Stevenage by 9pm but bring lights for the journey home. 

It is essential to bring puncture repair kit / inner tube and basic tools for your bike on this ride.
