"Steady Saturday" Ride : Louth to Scamblesby/Goulcby 8.50am start
Event description
Louth to Scamblesby 20 miles.
A 8.50am meet at the Leisure Centre for a 9.00am start out to Scamblesby via Little Cawthorpe, Haugham, Maidenwell, Scamblesby. Sue W. has confirmed so there's an option for a stop at the village hall if the need to use the facilities arises. I'm sure there will be refreshments at St. Martins.
It's the second week of the Churches Festival Ride and Stride:

If they've both run out of refreshments then there's The Three Horseshoes. The country first self service pub. It's very nice.

or even Jenny's Shop or the Post and Pantry but that will extend the ride into Donington on Bain.
Assuming we are not extending into Donington then up to the Redhill Nature Reserve. It is steep but we can walk the last 50yards if needed. From the top of Redhill it's a fast downhill back to Raithby. On through Hallington and possibly a well earned walk (possibly a sit) through Hubbard's Hills.

"Steady Saturday" is all about leisure cycling mainly on country lanes, riding in dry weather and with a café stop midway. The weather forecast will be checked Friday mid afternoon and a decision to go ahead or cancel will be made. Please check this website or contact Ty for confirmation if the ride is going ahead if you dont get the Friday email update.
