"Steady Saturday" Ride : Louth to Covenham Resevoir-7.20 a.m. start 6th September 2025

Starting from to the Merdian Centre,Wood Ln, Louth (LN11 8SA) travelling out to Covenham Resevoir in an clockwise loop. See the ridegps link below and/or download the gpx file for your bike computer.

A 7.20 a.m. sign in and an 7.30 a.m start time meeting outside the Leisure Centre near the main entrance/bike racks. The ride time will be approximately 3 hour.
A slow and steady paced ride travelling at roughly 10mph. A 15 mile round trip stopping around half way at Covenham Resevoir. Option to walk the reservoir embankment 1 km per side 4km total, or take some binoculars and do some bird watching, or just take some scran and a flask and have breakfast.
We can stop at Shaw's in Alvingham for any provisions on the way home. It opens at 9.00am on a Saturday. They do sell coffee.
Finally we'll finish the ride at the Repair Cafe, Park Av. Louth. Regular riders: Ty, Sue C. and Mark are all volunteers at the Repair Cafe. You're all welcome to grab some refreshments at the Repair club.
"Steady Saturday" is all about leisure cycling mainly on country lanes, riding in dry weather and with a café stop midway. The weather forecast will be checked Friday mid afternoon and a decision to go ahead or cancel will be made. Please check this website or contact Ty for confirmation if the ride is going ahead.
