Ride to Lakeside café in Horam, East Sussex

On Sunday 24 April at 10.30 we will be leaving Sainsbury's café, The Drove, Newhaven BN9 0AG and riding to Lakeside café-bistro at Horam Manor Farm, Horam, East Sussex TN21 0JB for lunch. 

Please contact Bob via the link below if you would like to join us on this ride. This will be mainly an on-road ride but with some gentle off-road, using the tracks through the delightful Friston Forest. You might find that wider tyres are helpful, rather than thin ones. Don't forget that you can get a train to the start of the ride at Newhaven if you want to keep the total mileage moderate. The round trip from Newhaven will be 40 miles, less than some other club rides. 

If you plan to come on any of our rides, please make sure your cycle is in a roadworthy condition. Bring a puncture repair kit, spare inner tube, essential tools, a mobile phone if you have one, something to eat and drink, sunscreen and/or waterproofs as appropriate. Please follow Cycling UK's Covid guidance, and check with the ride leader about the distance and hilliness of the ride.
