Mill Meece Century

19 April 2026
Sportive/Challenge Ride

Event description

This year Mill Meece Century is being run in April a month later than in previous seasons. The route for the Mill Meece Century takes riders through picturesque countryside, showcasing the scenic beauty of rural England. Participants can expect a mix of rolling hills, quiet roads and charming villages.

A 100 mile fairly flat trip to Staffordshire and back with a couple of testing climbs around Silverdale & a bit of a push up the Birtles on the return to Poynton.

The route passes the beautiful historic Mill Meece pumping station which is well worth pausing to take a look at.

Starting from Poynton Methodist Church where you'll receive a warm welcome & a cup of tea or coffee.

On your return there will be hot drinks & light refreshments & the opportunity to tarry a while, relax & chat with the riders from the other events before traveling home.
