Glow ride - Horwich Ride Social

This ride is part of the My ride. Our right mass glow rides night of action. Together, we’ll light up the night and call for safer streets and better cycling infrastructure, especially for women riding after dark.

This event is open to the general public (women) and female members of HRS.

Come along and support our Glow Ride, a Cycling UK event.

Dress bright! Be safe, be seen! Decorate not only yourself but your bike in lights (if possible).

If you require a Hi viz waistcoat, please let us know 48 hours before the ride.

We will cycle a short, 4 mile route along cyclepaths, cycle ways and then on a major road utilising the cycle lane on this circular route. The pace will be slow to ensure we are seen by everyone passing.

Come along and show your support to highlight that safer routes, well lit would encourage us ladies to cycle more in the evening.
