Family Ride - Chase to Watergate Forest Parks Adventure

This is a led ride.

We will cycle through the Park and along Millfield Rd cross Broom Lane and heading along estate roads and then un-surfaced bridleways towards Watergate Forest Park. We will traverse the Park and stop at the Watergate Café before returning along the Tanfield Railway Path.



Please be aware that although a short route the terrain is very varied and interesting and includes a path through an arable field, along a short section of cobbles and down a very short section of wide steps which we will walk down The section up the Tanfield Railway path is uphill but we will be taking our time.



Please ensure that your bike is road worthy eg the brakes are working and the tyres are inflated! You can get your bike checked out before at the Dr Bike event in Chase Park on the 14th July. Please bring a spare inner tube if you have one.

This is aride in conjunction with British Cycling, so please bear in mind the wearing of music ear phones is not permitted on British Cycling rides, and all under 18's must wear helmets.
