Darvelo '25 Discovery Ride

Discover some of the quiet back roads in the Irvine Valley with Cycle Ayrshire. We’ve organised a short 15 mile ride as part of Darvelo ’25 festival of cycling, music and food.  It’s a scenic route on quiet roads and cycle paths. After going alongside the river to Galston, it passes Cessnock Castle and Sornhill, then heads over the easier side of Windyhill before returning to the start via the riverside or Lanfine Estate. It’s not all flat but our group cycles at a relaxed pace and takes hills slowly. Once back in Darvel there’s the festival food and music to enjoy. Plus there’s chance to try a Yoga for All session with an emphasis on cyclists.

Under 18’s are welcome but must have a signed Parental Consent Form

Under 13’s MUST be accompanied by an adult.
