Conifox
Event description
Meeting at Fairmilehead we make our way along to Blinkbonny and round the back of Balerno to the A70. Heading to Almondell Country Park then Kirkliston to our Lunch stop at Conifox (around 24 miles). The return journey is through Dalmeny Park before joining the Roseburn path into Edinburgh where the mapped route stops (34 miles). I will then lead anyone who wants to return back to the start point.
Most of the route is on tarmac but there are a few short sections on rough ground.
The planned route is weather dependant and can be shortened at various points if required.
