On the Sunday morning, join the FREE, popular parade from Whitby Park, Ellesmere Port to the National Waterways Museum where there will be lots of bike and boat activities going on! FREE entry to all visitors.



So 'Bling Your Bikes' and join a decorated musical bike ride with live music to the free festival at the National Waterways Museum to celebrate Ellesmere Port’s rich historic past of bicycles and boats.



Our fun packed day starts at 10.00 am in Whitby Park with some Brass band oomph. Bling your bike - decorate your bike and yourself with stickers sparkle or what ever takes your fancy to wow the crowds! Arrive ready 'blinged' or get ready at our amazing Bling Station where our amazing volunteers will be on hand to help you.

At 10.30 am Mini Bike & Boats around Whitby park. An accessible route for all ages & abilities on anything with wheels! followed by judging of the best decorated 'Anything with Wheels'!

At 11.15 am the main Bike & Boat parade from Whitby Park to the National Waterways Museum will set off led by Dan Fox and his his amazing musical boom box bike! Rock to the music as the parade progresses along Stanney Lane, Wolverham Road and the canal tow path. Marshalls will be on hand along the route to direct you.

The main bike ride is 2.5 miles along a flat traffic-free canal towpath and marshalled roads, suitable for all ages. Plus, there'll be prizes for the best-decorated bikes.

Please register for the bike ride in advance.

Once at the museum entry will be FREE TO EVERYONE ALL DAY! even those who haven't been on the bike parade. So come along to join in with a packed programme of bike & boat themed activities.

Judging of the decorated bikes from the main parade will take place at 12.15 pm.

All entrants will receive a goody bag
