18th May - Whitstable (car+ off road ride), 46 miles.

Meet at Stevenage Fairlands Valley Car Park at 7:45 to load cars and set off.

 Approximately 1hr 45mins, 90 miles drive  to Whitstable. Park at Gorrell Tank car park (10 Westgate Terrace, Whitstable CT5 1BZ).

Ride will start approximately 10am from Whitstable Harbour

A mixture of cyclepaths, quiet residential streets, bridleways and towpaths.

This 46 mile route is ideal for mountain, gravel and touring bikes. There will be no mud, 80% paved, +1,343ft of climbing.  A mixture of cliff top path, promenades, cycle paths, bridleways, woods and quiet lanes. Views across Thames Estuary, Red Sands Forts, Isle of Sheppey and Essex.

Ride from Whitstable to Tankerton, Herne Bay, Reculver, Minnis Bay, Margate, Foreness Point, Blean Woods.

Approximately 5 to 5.5hrs moving time, plus refreshments time. Numerous refreshment options along the route.
