Joan Reynolds

Senior speedster Joan recently took up cycling after a break of 65 years!  Now 85, Joan decided that she needed a challenge and so took part in a Cycling UK Big Bike Revival event. Following one-to-one tuition and advice on which bike to choose, Joan is now a regular at the Walsall Arboretum Community Cycle Club, to the surprise and delight of her family.

Joan has appeared on television and radio, talking about her experiences of cycling in later life. Joan is a true inspiration and proof that you are never too old to try something new.

Cycling UK’s 100 Women in Cycling is an annual list celebrating inspirational women who are encouraging others to take part in this wonderful and life-enhancing activity.
