Chester and North Wales CTC's Bert Bailey Memorial Triennial Vets 100-mile
The Chester and North Wales CTC Veterans 100 is a well-established event which challenges riders aged 50 years and above to cycle our traditional and mostly flat 100 mile course at a sociable pace. In 2019 it will be part of the Cycling UK triennial veterans 100 series of events. Riders are in small groups allocated by the organiser with a ride leader. It is not a sportive. There is a staggered start with riders setting off in small groups with a ride leader. This helps to prevent bunching of large numbers of riders on the road and spreads arrival at refreshment stops.
