Kate Horsfall is part of Cycling UK's 100 Women in Cycling 2018 list for founding the hugely popular Yorkshire Lass Cycling Club for women.

Along with her friend Judith Worrall, another of this year’s 100 Women in Cycling, Kate set up Yorkshire Lass Cycling Club three years ago. The group was formed with the aim of giving women an opportunity to come together and have fun on bikes. It’s certainly worked, as today the club has over 120 members. They’ve held two ladies-only sportives, raising over £42,000 for charity, and are looking forward to the next one in August.

Kate’s favourite part is, “Encouraging women to get on their bikes and having fun meeting new people.”

Cycling UK’s 100 Women in Cycling is an annual list celebrating inspirational women who are encouraging others to take part in this wonderful and life-enhancing activity.
