Calling all members and supporters to join us for an exclusive behind the scenes event as we unveil Cycling UK’s exciting new long-distance route!

Get an exclusive look at the new long-distance route which will take you on a 330 km off-road journey through Dumfries and Galloway taking in the breath-taking landscapes, blending scenic trails, historic landmarks and charming local gems. 

Hear from two special guest speakers, Ross Adams and Guy Kesteven, as they discuss how the route came about, what goes into creating a route and developing the guidebook, along with how our new route fits into Cycling UK's Adventure Series.  

Ross Adams, Cycling UK Programme Manager for Routes, will delve deeper into the new Adventure Series route and share what goes into the development of a new route. 

Guy Kesteven, cycling journalist and product tester, will lift the lid on how he develops a long-distance bikepacking route, from initial concept to writing the guidebook copy.

Who can join?

The event is exclusively for members and supporters of Cycling UK.

Do I need to sign up in advance?

You must sign up in advance in order to receive the Teams link to join the event. Spaces are limited so we advise that you sign up as soon as you can.

What if I am no longer able to make it after signing up?

Please cancel your place so that we can offer your space to those on the wait-list.

Can I ask a question during the event?

Yes, you can submit any questions before the event via our online form and during the event you will be able to ask questions using the Q&A function on Teams.

How much does it cost to join?

The event is completely free to join.

Do I need a Teams account to join?

No, you do not need a Teams account to join. Simply click the link in your confirmation email to join. This will take you directly to the event.
