CTC Witney

CTC Witney

CTC Witney cycling is a local group of the CTC, the UK’s national cycling charity.  We ride each Sunday, enjoying the countryside and each other's company.  Sunday rides are between 30 and 60 miles and always include a cafe stop.  Pace is determined by the group, but would not be considered 'racy' and no one gets left behind.  We ride all manner of machines: MTBs, hybrids, tourers, racers, even the occasional tricycle!

The rides range between 25 and 50 miles depending on the preferences of the group and the weather.  It is always a pace that people find sociable and we encourage people new to group cycling or new to our group to come.  You don’t need to be a CyclingUK member to try it out.

All rides start at 9:30am at the Buttercross in the centre of Witney.

See our Google group (link is external) for further details of routes, updates and other chat about local cycling.  Or contact Kevin Arnold on kevin30b (at) gmail.com.

If you’re a local CTC member and you’re interested in joining in on a few rides or just a few discussions: join our Google group (link is external) (click 'Apply for group membership' or 'About' and 'Contact owner').  If you’re not yet a CTC member we’d love to chat with you over a ride.
