Where do we meet?
Club House - Gilead Chapel Hall, Gilead Chapel, Heol Spencer, Coity, CF35 6AU
We meet every Friday at 8:00p.m. at our new clubroom in Coity. Tea, coffee and biscuits are available at a very modest price.
Newcomers are more than welcome, it is a social night so if you are interested in joining, or simply curious, then come along for a chat.
What do we do?
We are a friendly local cycling club offering various activities such as club rides, social rides, time trialling, coaching, turbo sessions.
The key element of our club is social cycling. Our club runs cater for varying appetites and abilities, from those wishing to enjoy a gentle amble in the lanes, to those aiming to complete some sportives, to those maintaining fitness for competition.
We have mountain bikers, time trialists, tandemists, commuters, pleasure riders, road racers and track riders so if you want someone to ride with, someone to train with or just someone to talk to then come along.
There are three rides which go out regularly on Sundays (from Physiques, Brackla) - Pacers, Chasers and Amblers. Please click here to see details of each ride, and here to see what rides have been arranged for this coming Sunday.
Often there are weekday club rides arranged by members. The times differ, as do the distances and routes. Please click here to see if there are any rides going out this week.
The club hold weekly 10 mile time trials during the summer, and also take part and promote time trials in the South Wales area.
All year round. Cyclists meet on Bridgend Industrial Estate on Tuesday evenings. An excellent way to get your fitness and stamina levels up.
The club has a coach who can help with bike set up and bike fit. He is also available to answer questions and give advice. Link to coaching
Turbo sessions are held periodically at the club house on Friday evenings.
