Maidenhead Cycle Hub

Welcome to Maidenhead Cycle Hub homepage, who are an affiliated group of Cycling UK.

At Maidenhead Cycle Hub, we’re passionate about cycling and the benefits it brings to individuals, our communities and the environment.

We have two main aims:

  • To get people cycling – we’ll provide the mechanical skills and advice on bike routes and cycling safety to get people riding for leisure and to school or work
  • To support young people into work – we will provide local young people with the opportunity to gain technical and transferable life skills to build a successful future for themselves in the growing cycling industry

Information about the group rides

We organise regular rides suitable for a wide range of cyclists who would like to cycle more and try out some of the great routes right on our doorstep.

Details of future rides will be published here.

Rides have usually taken place on Saturdays.

We have held 6-8 mile rides aimed at families starting from the public car park by the entrance to Bray Lake (sat nav SL6 2EB).

We have also held 15-20 mile rides aimed mainly at adults or older teenagers taking place from the car park at Ockwells Park, Ockwells Road (SL6 3AA).  Other rides have been held for specific events or dates.
