Summer Rides Meeting 20th May 2026

Cycling UK Louth Rides Meeting to discuss the Summer 2026 Listing, Wednesday 20th May 2026:

With a fine dry morning in prospect, Tim Newbery and John Rickett made their way to Café@Mimi's at Manby to meet up with Alan Hockham. A short 16-mile round trip arriving back at Tim’s a little before 12noon for refreshment.

Following deliberations and consulting a long (very long) list of suggestions from Steve Croton, John Rickett and Ty Harness we have pencilled in Sunday rides for the summer months of June, July and August. Some old favourites, some which we haven't tried in ages and a couple of new cafés to try out. As always, the rides may be altered depending on the weather and rider’s inclination on the day.

Along with our early summer midweek overnighter to Boston in early July and Southwell in mid-July, there’s lots to look forward to.

Full joining instructions will be published over the next few weeks but to start the ball rolling we’ll be heading to Wickenby Aerodrome on Sunday 7th June 2026.
