The Journey So Far
We have been busy over the last couple of months tuning and choosing routes that will appeal to broad based group of cyclists, our ethos being having fun, while gaining confidence in a group ride with cyclists of similar abilities, but all including cake! So far we have ridden into the local countryside and enjoyed the timeless bucolic views of the Deben estuary, sat and enjoyed a stop at Felixstowe Ferry, and enjoyed a warm summers evening ride to a popular Public House, where a refreshing drink substituted cake. We have just posted our third outing, this being a mid week evening group ride for entry level cyclists along the promenade and who knows even an ice-cream!
We have been delighted by the response and engagement we have received so far. We are looking forward to the months ahead, more rides, with different routes. We have evening social events planned, including bike maintenance, open days, at our HQ at The Felixstowe Wellbeing Hub in Great Eastern Square. We are a Community Cycle Club and we aim to do exactly what it says on the tin!
It's all about the bike in Felixstowe.

Rules
All riders must wear a helmet, without exception. If you do not have a helmet, then loan helmets can be provided.
If you are riding your own bike, then it must be in roadworthy condition, with working brakes, adequately inflated tyres and lights in winter months. Dress should be appropriate for the weather conditions.
Due to the limited numbers and the level of anticipated demand, please only say that you will attend if you do intend to do so. Benefit of the doubt will be given, however it will be at the Organisers discretion whether to accept future bookings if you fail to attend.
The Ride leader has absolute discretion over the route, the attendees and behaviour on the road. No “road rage” to third parties, or any inappropriate behaviour will be tolerated under any circumstances and all riders must obey the Highway Code.
Membership of the Club will require each applicant to provide the Organisers with basic information, such as age, address, contact numbers and any relevant health issues that they feel should be disclosed. All information will be held by the organisers in accordance with ICO regulations.
