Grade 3. Meeting: Tregib old School bus park, Fairfach 10.00
Destination: Brechfa Forest and Wind Turbines. A clockwise loop following the Towi cycle path to Nantgaredig, then winding north, climbing through Horeb to Brechfa village. From there, climbing north and west, skirting Brechfa Forest to the high point of Mynydd Llahnfihangel-rhos-y-corn, before leaving the road to cycle approx 1km on a gravel track to the base of one of the giant wind turbines. Return to Brechfa via steep descent through Gwernogle. Lunch at Brechfa, then heading east to pick up a quiet country lane following the Cothi river south, before swinging east through Cwrt-Henri, on below Dryslwyn Castle and back on to Towi cycle path back to start. Distance: 44 miles.  Ascent: 3395 feet.
