About us
We're based at Four Oaks Baptist Church in Mere Green and are there most Mondays during term time.
We offer guided learn to fix sessions for your bike, we have some trikes to try out and have been delivering led ride as part of the Big Bike Revival programme.
bike2life CIC has been around for over 15 years and aims to encourage people of all ages to cycle. We support anyone with or without a bike, but one of our focus areas is those who currently don't cycle, but want to start. We have one led ride available in Mere Green which is less than 2.5 miles. Once you start to cycle the distances start to rocket, but when you start, you start with short rides.
We're also working from Brownhills Community Association and the led ride there is also very short and easy.
Recognising that not everyone is able to ride on two wheels we have a number of trikes to try. These can be helpful if you have balance issues. One of our leaders is also a keen supporter of recumbent trikes.
Most months we are at Aldridge Methodist Church offering simple bike fixes and adjustments.
In 2025 we have also worked at Queens Hospital Burton, Samuel Johnson Community Hospital Lichfield and Sir Robert Peel Community Hospital Tamworth. The dates for these can be found in the downloads sections along with dates for other events.
