Sunday 11th August 2019. Women’s Tour of Scotland – Final (Third) Stage.

Start 10.30 am Holyrood Park Edinburgh Finish 13.45 pm Holyrood Park, Edinburgh after 118 K

Three main reasons for taking an interest 1) Ogle the beautiful bikes at the start 2) Check out the route – will it be swept and repaired for the race and hence an improvement for all? 3) Watch these athletes climb up the steep slope to Dunsapie Loch three times with over 100K in their legs at the end of their race.

Route here but looks like Straiton, Auchendinny, Leadburn, A701 Blyth Bridge, A72, Peebles, Innerleithen, Granites (aka The Mound apparently), Middleton, Carrington, Bonnyrigg, Lasswade, Lasswade Road and Kirkbrae to Holyrood Park, Three times round and a finish at the Palace. Worth avoiding on the day if you do not want to watch the race!
