Winchester CTC Spring 80 km

Winchester CTC is organising a 80 km open event on Sunday 3rd April starting at 8 am from Worthy Lane car park, SO23 7AB (parking free on Sundays) and finishing at The Kitchen, Golf Academy, Down Farm Lane, Headbourne Worthy, SO22 6EG (about 2 1/2 miles from the start). The route follows primarily minor roads and iniitally follows the same route as the 140 km event which is being organised on the same day. It goes via Stoke Charity, Hunton Down, Laverstoke, Woodcut and Ashmansworth, where it splits from the 140 km. It then climbs West Woodhay Down (fantastic views from the top) and then down to Faccombe and Hurstbourne Tarrant. It is then follows the Bourne Valley and returns to Headbourne Worthy via Barton Stacey, Bullington and Wonston.
