Winchester CTC Spring 140 km

Winchester CTC is organising a 140 km open event on Sunday 3rd April starting at 8 am from Worthy Lane car park, SO23 7AB (parking free on Sundays) and finishing at The Kitchen, Golf Academy, Down Farm Lane, Headbourne Worthy, SO22 6EG (about 2 1/2 miles from the start). The route follows primarily minor roads and iniitally follows the same route as the 80 km event which is being organised on the same day. It goes via Stoke Charity, Hunton Down, Laverstoke, Woodcut and Ashmansworth, where it splits from the 80 km  It then goes via Ball Hill, Kintbury, Lambourne. It then goes over the Downs to Baydon, Aldbourne, Hungerford. It climbs Ham Hill nad then it's down to Venham Dean and Hurstbourne Tarrant where it rejoins the 80 km route, It then follows the Bourne Valley and returns to Headbourne Worthy via Barton Stacey, Bullington and Wonston.
