Event description


This year's Stirling Bike Club Reliability Ride will take place at 10 am on Sunday 13th February.



The route will be the same as the last few years SBC Reliability Rides: http://ridewithgps.com/routes/6759055



From the Park & Ride, right at the RAB onto A84/Millennium Way, straight on at next RAB to B8051 Raploch Road, right at King's Knot RAB onto A811. Then A811 all the way to Ballat Toll, right at Ballat Toll onto A81, right at Rob Roy roundabout to continue on the A81. Left just before Blairhoyle to continue on the A81 up and over the Braes of Greenock climb, sharp right at the bottom onto the B822 "mini braes". Left at the bottom of the hill then right in Thornhill to continue on the B822 til the Kippen Station RAB. Left at the RAB back onto the A811, finishing on the M9 flyover just before the King's Knot RAB.

There is plenty of parking in the business centre (see photo above) - please do not use the River House Restaurant car park.



Group format will be the same as last year: groups of ~20 riders with the fast/scratch group away first at 10:00 and time splits of 3 mins between each group.



Stirling Bike Club have taken out insurance for their event. Could riders please bring along a couple of quid each, this will cover our insurance costs and the remainder will be donated to Strathcarron Hospice.



There is normally a sign-on but this year we will definitely need to take contact details of all riders for contact tracing purposes.
