Thornton le Dale 50 in 5 standard ride.

A lovely 50 mile in 5 hours standard ride, with a lunch stop in the market town of Helmsley.

Entry fee £2. In addition voluntary donations can be made to Yorkshire Air Ambulance.

Starts in the main car park in Thornton le Dale. Parking – Please park in the furthest east area of the car park furthest away from the village. Please pay the minimum charge for 1 hour (£2) by card or phone (No cash payment). See the organiser, Don Low, who will issue you with an event ticket to display on your dashboard to allow you to park all day for £2.

Although you can enter on the day, it will be very helpful to have as much advance notice as possible of likely numbers of entrants so that we can make provision for parking and for numbers at the Helmsley pit stop etc. Please email the organiser.

The event is open to electric bikes and recharging of both batteries and entrants may be performed at the halfway stage  (Subject to numbers and availability - you will need to bring your own chargers!)
