The Suffolk Sportive 2022

TPR Events are thrilled to announce Aldeburgh Festival's inaugural cycling event. The Suffolk Sportive will be taking place on Sunday 19th June  from Snape Maltings.

The Suffolk Sportive is a brand new Sportive for the Suffolk area. As part of the Aldeburgh Festival, the sportive starts in the beautiful Snape Maltings and heads out to explore some of Suffolk’s most rural and stunning villages, roads and back lanes. You will get to choose from 25, 50, 75 mile distances, all routes are signposted and fully supported. Why not come down to explore sunny Suffolk and make new memories on some stunning roads.

This event is a recreational ride that takes place on some stunning open roads, twisting and turning through the lovely Suffolk villages. This ride is open to all ages and abilities, with the start and finish being at Snape Maltings. It is a perfect location for the family to enjoy the shops, galleries and cafes or to follow one of the nature walks while waiting for their family member or friend to return from the ride. 

Fully supported with mobile mechanic, ‘broom wagon’ and drink stops along the way, prepare for all the British weather can throw at you and look forward to a well earned chunky medal and warm welcome upon your return.
