Soutra
Event description
Picnic and cafe.
Starting at Fisherrow Harbour at 10 am sharp we will head out along the River Esk path to Cousland then Fala before stopping for coffee/tea etc. at the Soutra Cafe after 17 miles.
The route back is then 30ish miles which involves cycling along two stunning valleys with a short section on the A7 then over the Granites before making our way back to Fisherrow. The route back is however devoid of cafe or toilet stops so you should bring lunch with you and we will stop for a picnic part way back.
Please note this route is slightly longer than a usual Sunday cycle and does have a lot of climbing but I think the views are worth it.
The weather at present looks cool but dry.
The route is
