South Ormsby and The Wolds 2023

This is a Cycling UK Louth activity held under Cycling UK regulations, guidance and insurance. It'll form part of 'The Lincolnshire Wolds Outdoor Festival' and Cycling UK's 'Bike Week'.

This is a 27 mile social ride. It will be led by experienced Cycling UK Louth 'Ride Leaders' and the pace will be adjusted to that of the slowest rider.

The route takes the riders through Little Cawthorpe and Muckton to South Ormsby, where a short stop will be made to take refreshments at the 'Walker's Cabin' at the Sheep Dip Paddock. Climbing steadily along the historic Bluestone Heath Road, there should be splendid views right across the Lincolnshire Wolds. We return to Louth via Hallington (mainly downhill!). Total ascent 1300 FT.

Your cycle should be in a safe, legal and rideable condition. It's advisable to take some tyre levers, puncture repair kit /spare inner tube and (mini)-pump. It might be handy to have some spare cash and a card too.
