Parklife!

Cycling UK Big Bike Revival

Event description

Parklife is a free family fun day at Milton Country Park organised in partnership with South Cambridgeshire District Council.

This is a popular event which allows visitors to explore a variety of ways to improve their health and wellbeing and the opportunity to try a range of sports with a view to inspiring them to be more active.

This year you can enjoy:

Cycling Zone: a myriad of bikes to try out, from multi-person, recumbent, balance and all-ability bikes in addition to the popular pedal-powered Scalextric, Cycle Sprints & Smoothie Makers.

Water Zone: featuring Kayaking, Canoeing and Paddleboarding plus the chance to try your hand at angling too.  The qualified instructors can take visitors through these water sports allowing them to quickly take to the water and have fun on the lake.

Wild South Cambs Zone: where our visitors can get hands on, with den building, fire-lighting and pond dipping.

There's plenty of activities to choose from:

  • Mobile caving system
  • Archery
  • Climbing walls
  • Inflatable Zorbs
  • Live music, dancing and lots of opportunities to join in
  • Refreshments, including a Vintage Tea Tent and plenty of space for you to picnic

All activities are free of charge, except paddleboarding, canoeing and kayaking which incurs a small admin fee for booking in advance. You can book in advance via the South Cambs District Council website here, or book on arrival at the booking tent at the front of the park.

Please be advised that our water activities are very popular and always sell out so do book/arrive early.
