Online: Making friends and influencing people - Active Travel and Local Access Forums

We are speaking up for cycling, and other people often understandably want to use the same routes as cyclists. This session looks at how to forge constructive links with walkers, horse riders, disabled ramblers and landowners. Can we find common causes to speak together on? Can we identify and overcome differences without arguing in public?

Sophie Gordon will talk about Local Access Forums and why we should get involved, and Sonia Kundu will share her experiences of setting up the Somerset Active Travel Forum. We'll have a chance to discuss and ask questions about what we've heard.
