Leisurely ride to Hetton Lyons Country Park

Come and join 3 Together Big Local and Cycling UK’s Big Bike Revival for a led bike ride from the Nidderdale Centre to Hetton Lyons Country Park. 

Starting outside the Nidderdale Centre our leisurely 3-mile family ride follows the cycle tracks and shared paths in the area. 

When we arrive at Hetton Lyons Country Park our ride leaders will show you some of the art work that can be found there including the Greenheart sculpture, the new Ray Lonsdale Stephenson train and the hidden Durham Spray Paint Art. 

We will have a 30 minute stop at the play park, which is opposite the café and toilets for anyone who would like to use these facilities, returning back to Peat Carr via the same route.
