Hello to the Horseshoe

An easy-paced, sociable bike ride to the legendary Horseshoe Cafe. Join us at any of these four points:

10.30 Larick Centre, Tayport (but please be there by 10.20 if possible)

10.40 Tayport Harbour

11.00 TRB South Access car park

11.15 Cycle Hub, Dundee (between the bridge and the V&A)

We will then head out along Riverside Drive to Invergowrie, Kingoodie, Longforgan, then through the Rossie Estate to the cafe for out lunch stop. For the return we'll do a short loop to include Inchture, then return by the same route until we reach Dundee, where we will divert via Perth Road for reasons which we will explain if you ask us on the day! We will also drop off at all the pick-up points.

The route is mostly on minor roads and entirely on hard surfaces, so any kind of bike in good condition would be suitable. The terrain is slightly hilly through Invergowrie and again just before Longforgan; otherwise it is very nearly flat.

No charge, no tickets and no need to book in advance. Just turn up with your bike.
