Forty Plus Cycling Club Summer Social Event / Audax – 16/8/2025

Forty Plus Cycling Club is a sociable cycle club welcoming cyclists in London and the South-East, there are twelve active sections in Bedfordshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Kent, East Northants, Surrey and Sussex.  

40+ are holding a summer social event and Audax in and around the St Albans area starting and finishing at Cottonmill Community and Cycle Centre.

The Audax has 3 distances with staggered start times as follows:

160km (100miles) – 08:00

100km – 10:00

50km – 11:00

There will be a 25km led ride starting at 13:00 for those looking for something shorter.

Catering

Snacks and drinks will be available from the Cottonmill Centre at the start, there will be plenty of cafes etc. en-route and the event will close with a catered BBQ between 15:00 & 19:00.

Free car parking is available at the event venue.
