E-bikes explained with Raleigh

Event ride
Women's Festival of Cycling

Event description

Are e-bikes the future? Join our discussion with Raleigh on Tuesday 14 July at 2pm as we explain electric bikes in this Women's Festival of Cycling LIVE event. The panel discussion is targeted at female cyclists who are considering purchasing an e-bike or would like some user insights into their benefits and quirks.

We’re looking to encourage more women into cycling and to inspire and enable them to take the next step. Hosted by Cycling UK’s Anna Glowinski, this live panel will explore women’s first experiences using an e-bike, how this has transformed the way they cycle and what they hope to do in the future.

We'll discuss why they're so popular on the continent as well as why the uptake has been slower in the UK. You'll find out which options are available, how the tech-side of things works, and why riding an e-bike is not cheating.

Our expert guests: Monika Settler, Kelly Moore, Laura Laker, Craigie Lee, Mary Moncorge
