Event description

All Cycling UK members are invited to attend the Cycling UK in Scotland Annual Gathering on Saturday 28 October at Victoria Hall in Dunblane. We'd also love to welcome non-members that would like to know more about Cycling UK!

There will be an optional led ride in the morning before the gathering, followed by a series of inspiring and informative talks, including:

  • Mountain and gravel bike rider Kerry MacPhee, who recently set a new record on the Inverness-to-Glasgow Badger Divide route and is passionate about getting more women and riders of non-standard cycles into off-road riding
  • Multiple world record holding long-distance cyclist Christina Mackenzie, who recovered from serious injuries sustained in a hit-and-run to compete in the Gran Fondo at the UCI Cycling World Championships
  • Speech by Cycling UK chief executive Sarah Mitchell
  • Many more speakers to be confirmed

Tea and coffee will be available from 10.30am, with the event starting at 11am.

A free lunch will be provided.

Starting at 9.30am from Dunblane train station opposite the Victoria Hall, this scenic 10km ride will be at the pace of the slowest rider. More details on route to follow. Please register interest when booking to be kept up to date.
