Event description
A choice of 3 Audax events run from Corwen in north Wales
The Barmouth Boulevard
205km cycling event starting from Yum Yums Cafe, Corwen, N. Wales. Controls at Llanuwchllyn, Harlech, Abergynolwyn, Mallwyd, Corwen, plus 1 information control.
The return of the Barmouth Boulevard, a North Wales classic event starting from the centre of Corwen. After a gentle start to the ride around Llyn Tegid we then have a hilly section up to 400m to then descend to the coast then south to Barmouth. Cross the famous wooden railway viaduct across the estuary before heading back west through Abergynolwyn and over Bwlch y Groes again over 400m before a descend back into the Dee valley. Lights mandatory.

The Brenig Bach
110km cycling event starting from Yum Yums Cafe, Corwen, N. Wales. Controls at Pentrefoelas, Llansannan, Llyn Brenig, Corwen plus 2 information controls
The Brenig Bach is a Graham Mills' classic 100km of pure delight. Starting in the centre of Corwen next to Owain Glyndwr's statute we head off up the Dee valley almost to Bala then up into the remote hills, valleys and moors near Cerrig. A round about route to the Brenig plateau and the visitors centre near the llyn. This is followed by a long fast descent back to Corwen. Lights mandatory.

The Bala Mini Bash (50:50@50)
58km cycling event starting from Corwen, N. Wales. Controls at Llanuwchllyn and Corwen.
Start Yum Yum's Cafe Corwen with a brew; Ride to Eagle Inn Llanuwchllyn
Circumnavigation of Llyn Tegid lunch at the community run Eagles Inn at the far end. Great introduction to Audax

50:50@50 is an initiative to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Audax UK and to try to get more females to ride Audax events. The hope is that 50% of the field will be female riders.
