C&NW CTC Corwen Audax Events July

Sadly these events have had to be cancelled for 2020. The organiser has been in touch with all entrants to notify them of the situation.

A choice of 3 Audax events starting from Corwen:

Barmouth Boulevard 

Starts 8am

204km cycling event starting from Corwen. Controls at Llanuwchllyn, Harlech, Abergynolwyn and Mallwyd, plus 1 information control.



The ride is named the Barmouth Boulevard as the route allows N. Wales to parade some of its finest scenery. Fantastic river, lake, sea and mountain vistas.

The Brenig Bach

Starts at 8.30am ( please don't arrive before 8am)

107km cycling event starting from Corwen. Controls at Pentrefoelas and Llyn Brenig Visitor Centre Bike Hire Shop., plus 5 information controls.



A N.Wales classic of the 1990s/early 2000s established by the late Graham Mills.



The route traverses remote hill areas---stunning scenery, 3 good cafes and last 20k is all downhill.

Bala Parade

Start at 9.00am ( please don't arrive before 8.30am)

60km cycling event starting from Corwen. Controls at Llanuwchllyn.



A scenic and not too demanding ride---winding roads, narrow lanes, a beautiful lake and a few minor hills. Designed as an introduction to Audax riding and a delightful excursion in beautiful North Wales.

Closing date for entries 8th July ( or when event is full which ever is the earliest) No entries on the line.
