C&NW CTC Corwen Audax events 2025

A choice of 2 Audax events run from Ruthin in north Wales 

 The Clwydian (BR)

207Km cycling event starting from Ruthin, N. Wales. Controls at the start (Ruthin), Loggerheads, Pensarn and  Corwen,  Llanuwchllyn, plus 4 information controls. One of the classic hard North Wales audax routes from the Graham Mills/Dave Mathews stable. 
The route climbs to Brenig from the sea and though the Clwydian and Haulkyn Ridges as well. 

Start 8.00 to finish by 22.16

 Y Dyffryn Clwyd (BP)

One of the classic hard North Wales audax routes from the Graham Mills/Dave Mathews stable.

130Km cycling event starting from Ruthin, N. Wales. Controls at the start, ( Ruthin), Ponderosa Café,  Pensarn, Llyn Brenig, Corwen, Horseshoe Pass, Ruthin Rugby Club plus 3 information controls

This year we are running the events from the Welsh Festival of Cycling held at Ruthin Rugby Club organised by CTC Cymru, part of Cycling UK. These routes have been run from Corwen in the Autumn recently so we are hoping for better weather and a higher turnout.
