This 100 mile event is not a sportif. Starting from 8:30am from the Cheshire View, the course takes you over to Delamere Forest where you pick up the Cheshire Cycleway, and then continues into Vale Royal, crossing the Weaver at Acton Bridge. You continue following Cheshire Cyclway signs to Great Budworth, where there is your first refreshment stop. After this you head further East to skirt Knustford and climb the Old Wizard. By now you are heading for the hills beyond Macclesfield, on the edge of the Peak District. You will get fantastic views across Cheshire from Kerridge Ridge, before dropping down onto the Cheshire Plain. You will cross the River Weaver again at Church Minshuall as you head to Eaton, after which the familiar sight of Beeston Castle will lead you home.
You need to aim to complete the ride in 12 hours, but it is not a race. Checkpoints should not be missed, so we know you are all safe!
