Chris' Ride from Market Rasen to Cherry Tree Garden Centre, Sudbrooke.

Optional Car Assisted ride from Market Rasen Leisure Centre. Post code: LN8 3JW. what3words: thousands.grape.each (just off the A631 Gainsborough Road on leaving Market Rasen).

Meet up in time for a 10.00 am departure.

ROUTE INSTRUCTIONS:

OUTBOUND

Turn right from the Leisure Centre and then turn right again (Dear Street) through the back streets to the B1202 Linwood Road (NCN 1), which then passes the Tesco Superstore. Continue to Linwood on the B1202 and then turn right onto the NCN1 towards Bustlingthorpe Bridge. Near the bridge turn left along Lissingley Lane and continue along this lane towards Lissington (do not take NCN1 to Bustlingthorpe Wood). At T junction with Wickenby Road turn right to Wickenby.

Straight through the village to pick up NCN1 Snelland Road to Snelland. In Snelland turn right onto Station Road (NCN1) then right again before bearing left over the Level Crossing (NCN1). Head to Reasby and Stainton by Langworth, still following NCN1. In Stainton by Langworth turn right over the bridge (NCN1) to Scothern. In Scothern, turn left at the Bottle and Glass PH along Sudbrooke Road and Scothern Lane to the junction with the A158 Wragby Road. Cross over and Cherry Tree Garden Centre is on the left.

​RETURN

Return back to Scothern. Turn right at the Bottle and Glass PH and then return to Snelland using the same outbound route along NCN1. In Snelland turn right at All Saints Church onto Church Road which heads east past Wickenby Aerodrome. Turn left onto the B1399 Lincoln Road to Holton cum Beckering. At All Saints Church Turn left onto the B1202 Lissington Road and then then first right to West Torrington. Turn right then left to East Torrington. Turn left to Collow and follow the road to Bleasby, Legsby and Little London, continuing towards Willingham woods. Then bear left along Legsby Road, back towards Market Rasen. Possible stop at Market Rasen Golf Club for coffee if not too busy. Turn left through The Ridings and Beechers Way to the Linwood Road (NCN1). Turn right and continue past Tesco Superstore, then left onto Chapel Street to go under the railway bridge. Continue back to the A631 Gainsborough Road and Market Rasen Leisure Centre.
